Thread: Pegasus Raven Strop

so i saw this strop on fleabay a long time ago, it started out at full MSRP, which can be found on the imperial shave. so i was intrigued, but not at that price. well ive been keeping an eye on it, and it dropped to a fraction of that price yesterday, so i pulled the trigger. ill post some pics when it shows up, but i just wanted to see if any members have experience with this strop?

Its shell cordovan, its going to be a great strop.

Just looked up your strop on the imperial shave.
The shell is made by Horween so its going to a great strop with a fast draw. It's veeerry long at 30" so I hope you have long arms! It says its backed with saddle leather to add rigidity, not sure if this will be of benefit, personal taste I guess.

All the imperial strops are fantastic IMO.

Pegasus builds some beautiful very effective strops that cost accordingly.

I have an imperial with the swede second and love it. I would really like to get one of their flax linen second strops too but need to arrange some stuff first. Like sell some razors and but a strop. I think I may have a strop issue building. As far as I can see any price break on one of those is a great deal. I have not seen them selling on ebay that were not showing signs of use. You will be happy to have it.
