Question Bought Some Diamond spray from SRD.

Hello all, decided to get some .25 Micron Diamond spray from SRD. I have several strop materials that I can use. Balsa, nylon, linen, leather & felt. Which material have you found to work best with this product?

I use my SRD diamond on a SRD canvas. It is well broken in and is a great way to freshen an edge.

What is the grit equivalent rating of .25 diamond spray?

I have on felt and never use it. I like crox on balsa before a linen strop.

The substrate will dictate how aggressive the cut. For example wood, will be more aggressive than felt. As does pressure.

So it depends on what you are trying to achieve. It is probably the reason most folks do not have a good paste experience, application does not match expectations.

I like paper or canvas. Smooth leather works well also for me. Diamond really needs to be used in a progression for maximum results. Make sure to shake well to suspend the diamonds.

Well just got back from my great nephew's wrestling Tourny. & my .25 Diamond spray was in the mail box.
Have to say great packaging . Big box & lot's of crumpled paper & well taped. Bigger bottle than I expected!
    GREAT JOB SRD!

I have mine on leather, and it works great for me! I tried it on felt and balsa first but found for my use that the leather worked better.
