So I rubbed lightly with a damp cloth and then by palm when dry, then again, then like 30 laps with a smooth, round glass. That seemed to get it pretty well. Maybe a few more nights like that. Also gave a try stropping in a windshield wiper motion, I liked that.
As for SRD, I read their policy and I'm over a month from purchase plus took it out and used it, plus I'm not big on returns, shipping etc. Unless I have to. All in all I think it will be fine. Damp cloth made a world of difference, wasn't sure if water and leather were a nono.
Thanks alot guys!Baby Butt Smooth

Thanked: 60Water is essential. Leather dries out and loses its elasticity that's why you see people who take care of tack and saddle wash their leather regularly before conditioning. It raises the grain and gets the grime and grit out better too

Yep a damp cloth to clean your strop regularly, never hurts, also if your one of the guys who use oil, you usually need to wipe with a damp cloth to open up the leather to accept the oil, I think what your doing will work , maybe a few more sessions with the bottle, Good luck, mand for the future it's best to just go straight to the place you bought t first, then come to us.
