    Nobody has convinced me that old 'Certified' USA strops did not run through his hands back in the day. A seller in Hawaii sold a reft of Certifyd strop stamps with a variety of barber suppliers, hardwares a few years ago. Where did those come from?

    I can promise that the master made strops all day long. Likely to the highest bidders!
    He definitely made strops for all kinds of shaving outfits.

    There is 3" fire hose out there but most of it is rubber lined. Don't know how hard it would be to get the rubber lining out of it. I guess if you cut it in strop length the rubber might pull out pretty easy.
