Recommend to me an Artisan who can restore an antique "loom" strop
Guys I bit on an antique Loom style strop and I am anticipating wanted to have to restored, repaired, or replaced as to the leather. Who among the SRP group do you recommend? I know we have some amazing brush and razor artisans..... how about strops?
I have shot an email to Tony Miller for his advice as well.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd also throw in Sharpton, Tom has done some spectacular work restoring some of these wonderful antique items, and I've seen quite a few strops he's done as well, all spectacular.

well send it to me and I,ll take care of it. might get lost in the mail going back though, amazing strop, I,m thinking that ya maybe ask Tom, but any of the great strop makers should be able to get your leather replaced, Neil was a master at replicating them , but alas our friend is no longer here super find Hoosier Tc

Thanks guys. It came with a Brookes & Crookes straight in 925 Sterling scales with a London hallmark as well. Once it arrives I will consider whether to keep it as is or have it "restored" in a much finer finish. Leaning toward that and keeping it. Wondering if I will be killing the future value of it by doing so however. Would be cool to actually use it properly nonetheless. Foster & Bailey were only in business for 10 years as Silversmiths and their wares typically are valued in a moderate range.
