Fine job on the strops Tom. Wish I could help with the felt, but you sure did a great job.

They sure turned out great Tom. Glad to see you puttering around a little more.

I would do nothing but putter if I could afford it, Rez!
Just came off 2 weeks of super-hard work so this slow week has been nice.
Lots of rain coming, they say. Bad for business, yet good for puttering!

Some razors to do around here........

Beautiful job Tom, Im wondering if the felt is original as a secondary, it seems like something used for spray and paste, thoughts?

    Hay, Martin! Thanks!
I don't really know. I have seen more recent Kanoyamas with the felt.
It seems there is one model which has felt and fabric as well?
Anyway, it has not been pasted with anything. I suppose I will go peruse the old threads for clues.

Search and ye shall find...Lotsa threads!
Seems it is suede and not felt!

So I have just stropped a razor on it.
Definitely a nice secondary! Not such a heavy draw, yet seems like it will be quite effective going by what I hear and feel.
