Jamie, very very nice, the linen visually looks very similar to Kanayama but is white

William, it's a much harder and stiffer surface than the Kanayama linen, there seems to be some sort of coating like a wax?

They used to use a compound for refreshing razors on a lot of strops, my NOS Red Imps linen also had a waxy type coating on it.

Superb rescue on the NOS strop, Jamie! I greatly admire the fine condition of your vintage piece as well as your frequent ability to be in the right place at the right time.

Well done, sir, and as always thank you for sharing your various AD loot by way of such fine photography!
