    I've used the 2 inch stuff from here:

    It was a bit dirty when i got it (it would degrade a honed edge) after a few cycles through the washing machine in a delicate bag it turned out good. Its fairly thin and flexible (compared to my linen fire-hose) but does a good job. I prefer the fire-hose, but would not be unhappy if the straining web was all I had.

    They have 3” too. 75mm
