    Default Wool/Felt?

I would like to pick up a wool/felt strop. Should I go with SRP, Hand American or TM. Is there any difference between the strops? Also, does the .5 diamond scratch up the finish on a razor?
    thanks

D'you mean .05, or .50? Because I have yet to see .05, but .50 is quite common, and great for post-hone/pre-strop.

It does not scratch up a finish -.50, that is- and works excellently before leather stropping, when you are rehoning a blade, however, chromium oxide seems to be the prefered touch-up paste, Diamond is more for during the honing process, I guess.

I don't think the strop maker makes that much difference... I use a TM Wool felt, though, with .50 diamond

I have SRD's Wool Felt w/ .5 Diamond. I love it. It's nearly black from use....

I think (read as: opinion) most wool felts, and most fabric seconds in general, are similar from maker to maker... Leathers are the big differences. However, SRD's diamond spray does it RIGHT
