    Default pronunciation

I've met a couple of people lately who pronounce strop differently that I do. I was wondering how other people pronounce it and if I am correct or not.

I say: strawp or strahp - sounds like stop
Others say: stroop - sounds like poop

    Who is right?

    Default Pronunciation

    Hello, dnjrboy:

The correct pronunciation is "strop" as in "d-(rop)."

    Regards,

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
