    Good luck!

Can someone post a pic of the SRD webbing with CrOx on it, preferably the crayon? It would be a helpful guide to me, more than words would (e.g., "not too much" "sparingly," "just a bit"). I am looking for pix on the webbing, as that is the material I plan to use with my SRD crayon.

Sure, let me snap a quick pic... I used the SRD Webbing and the SRD crayon... However, I'm one of the people who uses more CrOx and less laps, rather than light CrOx and more laps...

    Here you go...

Sorry for the low quality, I have a camera-phone and no digital camera...

Picture one is the crayon and the strop (Duh >.<)

Picture two shows the edge so you can see how heavily I applied the CrOx... The whole surface was black... Like I said, I like a heavy coating

And picture three is the whole strop surface.

You don't need to load it on that heavily, I just prefer a heavier coat... In fact, I'm probably going to coat it a little bit more thickly soon... Just a few touchups to keep it nice and heavy...

    Good luck

And how many laps have been working for you with that strop? And how many weeks have you been working with it? Thanks. This is the sort of prompt help that makes the board so worthwhile

I generally do 10-15 laps on it, and I've had it for 4-6 months, I'd say... I use the CrOx for touchups between stone-honing.
