Toronto leather shops
Howdy all,
I've recently seen alot of posts about people making their own strops and decided to maybe give it a shot myself.
I was wondering if any of our Canadian friends here knew a good leather store in toronto. I did a google search but just not sure of any of those stores are any good.
Also any of you guys who have made your own strops how did they turn out? Did they work for you and are they part of your rotation?
Anyways hope to hear from you all soon and hope you all have a great shave today.Shaving_story on Instagram

Thanked: 993Leather Stores
Basil,
You could try Lee Valley tools at the intersection of King and Portland. I know they have balsa and leather pieces for stropping. If you are intent on making your own, I would suggest taking a day trip to the St. Jacob's area outside of Kitchener-Waterloo. I'm sure the Mennonites have some tanning happening there. If all else fails, the market is a great source for Summer Sausage and deep fried apple fritters.
Good Luck,
Maxi
