    Here are a couple strops I found at a local antique store today

    I have a Certifyd, but mine is far more vintage looking, it must be nice to have one still in the wrapper, a great strop!

    +1, I've got the one on the left in nice shape and it is a fine strop. Same outfit that made the Red Imp. Another fine one. You got a nice haul there.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I hear Russian made strips r made great and the textured backs work well

    The " Russian Leather" refers to the tanning process and is not the origin of the product. Sorry.

    Congratulations! The leather looks brand new after all these years. I like my Red Imp strop with the Certifyd markings, but it is nowhere as great looking as your finds.

    With all of the antiquing we do we have found strops in any condition very hard to find. This was an excellent score!!
