I thought the Shamwow had a shaggy surface? Is this really good for stropping? I'm just used to seeing very smooth surfaces used.

Thanked: 14Taken from Sham-Wow FAQ.
ShamWow clothes are made out of a rayon sort of material which is woven in a certain way to make it feel a bit like felt. When wet, it becomes a soft leathery material.

Thanked: 1263I would think it would be quite similar to stropping on a felt component. Kudos to you for trying out something new and glad it worked for you.

Never hard of a Shamwow .... I thought maybe you were talking about a henway .
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I picked up some to wipe down my blades after shaving, looks like something else to try.
Thanks
