Thread: How much?

I just got my wool strop from SRD. How much diamond spray do I use and how often do I respray? IF this has been answered before can you give the link?

Here's what I'd do:

I'd put a bit of paper under the strop, or between the strops to catch the odd extra spritz. Then I'd hold the spray about 4 or 5 inches off your felt and probably cover the distance in three or four sprays. Let it dry completely. Repeat. Let it dry again. Use.

Really light strokes with the razor, and on a flat surface. I have the paddle version, which is flat. But....if I had the hanger, I'd probably pull it tight or lay it on a table.
