Franks Shaving Strop?
Hi All,
Having had a Franks Shaving finest badger brush for a while and finding it very nice, I noticed that Ian Tang is now producing strops.
FS #3 100% Leather Stright Razor Sharpening Strop Strap Belt Double Side | eBay
If they are of comparable quality to the brushes I'd be interested.
Does anyone have any experience with these strops?
If so, how do they perform?Hang on and enjoy the ride...

I wouldnt touch it, but the ad makes for some interesting reading.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Well not tried one ( I get mine from here : Leather Hanging Strops )
I have the burgundy 3 " Big Daddy - which is working well . Just ordered the 2 1/2 black latigo and 2 1/2 Big Mama chestnut for back up (can"t beat the prices and the quality , I find stands up ) .
I would say the Franks one for $20 with shipping , may be decent enough to get one started. At least if you nicked it , you wouldn"t feel too bad .
Cheers,

Thanked: 993Hmmmm... you know, I don't know. But seeing that no one has any idea I nominate you to purchase one, use it, review it, and tell us about it.

I am not allowed to buy any more gear for a while, so I will live vicariously through threads like this.
