Thread: How long does a strop last? Do old ones work well?

I have many strops, some are very old. I don't treat them. I just rub them down with the palm of my hand. It works for me.
Oils normally change the draw, and it's easy to go overboard with them. Here's some pics of a couple of vintage strops.
