Default To Paddle Strop or Not to....

So i got a gift card to SRD for the holiday and i have been spending the last month deciding what to get. I have been going back and forth on getting the modular paddle strop or if i should just get some CrOx and Diamond spray and put it on one of my hanging strops OR geting the Livi loom strop, although i think i am leaning in the direction of the paddle. I have a norton set 220/1k 4/8k so i think a pasted/sprayed stop would be a nice addition and want to know what you guys think or would do!

    thnaks!

I went with the modular paddle strop and I love it. I may never go back to a hanging one

All I use is the SRD Modular Paddle with the English Bridle pad.

Same here. After getting the SRD paddle strop, my hanging one has gone virtually unused. I plan to use the hanging one as a CrOx strop eventually.

I started with a hanging strop, but I switched to a paddle strop earlier this week after one was gifted to me. It has a loop at the top so that you can hang it from something and use it like a hanging strop, which is nice. But it's also nice to not have to worry about strop tension. I won't be going back to a hanging strop any time soon.

Everyone need a good paddle once in awhile.

The paddle is more consistent than a strop, but I still use my hanging strop once in awhile because I really think it is very cool and very manly. If I could have only one then I would favor the paddle.

Paddle for me as well. I don't ever plan to get a hanging strop, as it's just to easy to have a perfect edge with the paddle.

Must admit I really like the precise control you get with the paddle strop, not a fan of hanging strops.
