I have one and love it. As far as paddles go, it's hard to beat...so many options...

I'd suggest that if you buy one you'll be glad you did.

Two good endorsements above. I have been using mine since they were released and am crazy about it. The options are many and cover all possible strop needs to include sprays/pastes, etc as you may wish.

    uh....buy one of these.....soon.

Seriously, I have a LAMP (Lynn Abrams Modular Paddle.....l) and think it's a great addition to the straight shavers arsenal. You can use it for minor touch ups, after honing, etc. By changing pads you can use all types of stropping media and abrasive sprays, pastes, powders, etc.

Tell y'all something..... I hope Lynn and Don live to be 100 and SRD stays in business forever ...... but that ain't happening. There may come a day when if you want an SRP modular paddle you'll have to get it in the classifieds or on the bay. Get 'em while you can.

Yes, absolutely. Great stuff to tame a harsh edge or touch up when it is necessary. Not for daily stropping .... not at my house anyway.
