I use the spray CrOx on the felt, either as a finisher or for touchups.

What I do is sprinkle the CrOx powder onto the felt pad, evenly, over the entire surface (but not solid cover); then, from a height of 6"-8", I lightly spray water over the entire surface of the pad (but not a deluge). I let it dry overnight, and it's good to go!

However...the spray CrO is really nice and handy...makes it easy to get a good even coat of CrO on the strop...the SRD sprays are heavily concentrated.
    Never tried 'em.

Well I have sprayed one hard wool felt with the diamond spray..i am still trying to decide whether to put the crox on the other one or the scrub leather..either way this strop is really nice. Much easier for me than the hanging strop i had..not giving up the other one but my paddle will definetly be the goto strop.
With the changeable pads and leather it really is easier. Plus I know that there won't be any sag when I do strop which is good.
Very nice piece of equipment and I highly recommend one to those who do not have one.

Have two felt pads. One with each spray. Couldn't see using a paste on them.

    Have fun.
so i'm guessing its powder form .5 crox mixed in liquid of some sort? i agree its alot less messy its quite simple to use and way les green . i have to admit my wife was'nt happy when i got the real green paste on the carpet..

Te felt pads are nice to use with crox spray or diamond spray. I have crox paste on scrub leather and i still prefer the ease of felt pads the soft cusion ad nice glide feels nice to use...

Well I could put it on either one the felt or the scrub..I just not see the need to get another CRoX since I already had some powder.I know it is more convenient but it just seemed unnecessary when I orderedThey pretty much do the same. the only difference is what color do you want your fingers to be after you are done.
