I haven't used Latigo so I can't make a comparison, but just for info, the buffalo has a lot of draw right out of the box. It was my first strop and now I use the web as a pasted strop and the buffalo just hangs there and watches. I find that I prefer a light draw, SRD Premium I, or NM cordovan shell, etc., but if you like a lot of draw, the buffalo won't disappoint.

    Regards,
    Howard.

The buffalo has a lot of draw, but without the waxy feeling of latigo. If I'm looking for a heavy draw, I prefer the buffalo to the latigo.
