I own 2 SRD strops and 1 extra leather (the 3" natural which I replaced after a year of nicking it up with the Premium I leather, and a double sided hard felt) and I can attest to their quality - but they are the only strops I own. So whereas I can state that I am very happy with the quality of the SRD product, I cannot say how it compares to what other companies offer. It may be difficult, but see if you can get an opinion from someone who has tried both. Also, being in a position where shipping is an issue is something that I will never experience; so what something is worth to you is going to be different than what the same item is worth to me. After using the 3" Natural strop from SRD for over a year I can tell you that it is worth more to me than what I paid for it - but (knowing what I know now) I would never pay $120 for it, IMHO.

ehh......starshaving replied to me....shipping is 40 bucks to uae..so thats like 80 dollars.....i might as well pay a couple of extra bucks at srd...plus ive added in a couple of soaps and a brush to my cart as well
