    Default which side to paste/diamond spray

    Am newb to straight razor and planning to make paddle strop to keep razor sharp. have got some nice 4x12 pieces of kangaroo leather and unsure which side to leave exposed. too much info not enough answers on net. Also have heard of diamond followed by crox. would .25 diamond followed by .3micron alumina be better.
