Thanked: 96In case you don't know it, Mastro Livi recommends using lighter fluid to clean the leather and linen. Works great and I've used it on other strops.

Thanked: 286Question for you guys that refresh your edges with crox side. I have tried it several times and I have found it makes my edges real harsh with just ten strokes. Compared to other forms of crhronium oxide I have such has hand Americans crux witch leaves much smoother edge.

Thanked: 1081Gary
Mastro Livi cakes his strops with CrOx, I too find my usual lap count with my Livi loom to provide a harsh edge. I got as much CrOx off as I could by rubbing it with a kitchen towel, basically keep going until fresh kitchen towel dosnt turn green. 10 laps after this and your good to go.
