Thanked: 177I have 2 hangers and 1 paddle. the paddle was a godsend as I rolled the edges on the hangers first two times. I use the hanger mostly but sometimes use the paddle. I haven't noticed a difference between the two in the feel of the shave. the paddle has bridle/latigo. I hit the latigo for 30 then 50 on the bridle. hope your strop comes soon.

Here is what my neighbour made me out of an old tool belt that he cleaned up with a wire brush wheel on a drill. The section I use to strop with is outlined in the box.

Again, I'm getting a Filly and not using the old tool belt (that, again, looks worse than it is). I barely used it at all, and only because I couldn't find anything else at the time to get me by until my strop comes. I can understand your shock, but, shooter74743/Scott and I have sorted it all out.
Stropping on my pant leg seems to work fine now, my initial try of the pant leg was on my opposite leg and uncomfortable, now I use the other leg and it works fine.
All of your suggestions are great but let's keep the discussion on good stropping alternatives and less about my poor choice.
Thanks gents.
