I do not have one yet, but I have read a lot of good things about the Big Daddy strops from Star Shaving (Home Page). They have 3 inch stops in Bridle and Latigo leather in the $35-$40 range.

The 3" Big Daddy from Star Shaving was my first strop. Nice quality for the price.

The 3" Big Daddy was my second strop and performs better than my first strop that cost over twice as much. Condsidering I'm new to wet shaving and stropping and have since put about a dozen small nicks in my first strop I think I should have gone with two of the Big Daddy's straight of the bat one to practice on and one for after I became competent. :-)
