Thread: Problem with Star Shaving

I just ordered from star and noticed that certain strops are delayed. The notice is on their shop website when you pull up the item you want to purchase. I ordered some replacement leather on 6/21 and expect them to ship early July.
I have never had to call them but I would suggest just being patient. They are a small operation, maybe two people!

I'd double check the phone # and try again during their posted working hours. Remotely possible you had the wrong # ?

Thanked: 177As everyone has said, hopefully everyone is well. I've ordered numerous strops paddles slurry soaps and bench strops and never had an issue. Relatively fast and I'm satisfied doing business with them.

I've orderd a number of iteams from SS not only for my self but as gifts for friends and family that I've gotten into SRS, I'm talking laptop boards,strops,brushes etc.. I only ever get a email showing what I've purcheced. Sometimes it's at my door in a week others have been a couple weeks.

Something is going on there, I emailed an inquiry to them on there website "contact us" link and the first time they did not respond to me. I sent the same inquiry a second time and it took them over a week to get back to me. When I initially ordered from them several months ago the service was very speedy.

I just ordered some stuff from them 2 weeks ago and it arrived in a reasonable time.

Thanked: 0Just ordered a strop last week and had the same issue. Emailed with the question and they replied immediately. I ordered and confirmed last Monday and they are shipping out this Tuesday. I will be sure to order well in advance for this company, if I order from them again.
