    Default Gemstar Custom Razors

After over 11 years of Professional Honing and Restoration

Our mission statement is very simple...
We take on all restorations as if they were for our own personal use, any razor that is found to be defective in any, way, from the work we did, will be fixed... All work will be completed in as timely a fashion as possible, but we will never rush an order and sacrifice quality workmanship....

    Pricing:

Pricing for Vintage and Custom Restores are done by a per razor estimate, but in general runs from $45-$125...
All Restoration includes honing to shave ready..

Scale replacement on new razors seems to be very popular right now, pricing starts at $55 and goes up depending on materials and how fancy you want them...

Regrinds are also available on a consultation basis...

Honing to "full shave ready" is available separately, on an immediate turn around basis....

The most asked question we seem to get is about Honing Costs ?????
We have finally come up with a fair pricing structure...

Starting at $15 for a Hollow Grind Razor.... In "Good" condition

Add $5 for each of the following that apply to your razor....

    Wedge / Heavy / 1/4 Hollow blade
    Damage
Frowns, Waves, anything that makes me have to do a complete bevel reset....
All Japanese Kamisori razors start at $20
Plus $ 8.00 Tracked, Insured, Boxed Priority Shipping CONUS on all razors...Outside the CONUS whatever it actually costs.......

Occasional Razors for sale, E-mail me if you are looking and don't see any listed, I have dozens in the Drawers and on the Bench

More Info on the website Gemstar Customs direct e-mail is simple [email protected]

Glen is a freakin' encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to straight razors, especially when dealing with vintage restorations. Put his OCD to work for you, and you will not be disappointed.

Default Custom Brushes for sale too

Gemstar Customs has come into some good heavy Elk Antler
I have enough to make about 8 brushes, I suspect 26mm or less on sizes although the two bases might go larger

Pricing is pretty easy $50 - $75 for the Antler and the Labor to create the brush, price dependent on whether you want the Larger Bases and the Length of the Handle you want..

The cost of the knot is totally in your hands, chose whichever you want and whatever it costs to get into my hands is the price added to the Handle..If you have some knot laying around the house that is okay too you just have to get it in my hands

Fire me an e-mail if you are interested [email protected] or PM me here
