    Interesting technique and from the shave looks like it's affective. The only thing I could add to what has already been said would be don't drag your blade all the way to the end of the stone. Keep your slurry on the stone and push it back and forth from end to end. That will allow you to cut down on your water usage. If you ever had to cut a new bevel on that razor you would have to do it in the tub.
