Thread: my first honing video 7:53 min

Hi! Nice video!
I noticed that you are in Milano, Italy... My brother studied there last year. I noticed the bells in the background sound. You don't happen, by any chance, to live in the Naviglio Grande, Porta Genova or Porta Ticinese areas?... I think I recognized the sound of those bells...
I just remembered one neat little thing! In Brera there is a Barber shop that has a lot of razors and other stuff on display on the shop window... and in Montenapoleone there is a shop (a cheap one, for sure...) that sells fine cuttlery, including razors. But you probably know all this... sorry to bug you!

if this is first honing experience i should say great job.Let me point out what i will change


1 st when you put tape please turn blade other side .leave black tape flat and bring back of the blade toward to tape will be alot easier.
2 nd know most people jumps from 4 to 8 to 4 again to 8 k side.i don't do that.i am done with 4 k side then 8 and never come back to 4k side.what happenes you haven't done with 4 k and go 8 then come back again etc
3 please when you go from 1 side to another clean blade with water.
lastly if you really done with razor don't do thumbnail test you will dull it.
overall great videa keep it up and thank you for video .

This is my last video but I've done it before I read your reply so I've done thumb test after stropping
