What a huge blade. That's twice as wide as the blades I'm accustomed to using. I might have to take a coffee break between passes.

    Very nice job!

    Mr. Magus,

You have produced an exceptional series of quality shaving videos. They are not only educational, but entertaining as well. The music bed is listenable. That there is no talk adds considerably to the quality of the videos. Almost all straight razor shaving videos have talk that bores to death. The producers talk a lot and say little in a killer monotone voice.

There are exceptions, of course. Lynn's shaving videos have talk, but he is educational and entertaining with a voice that has life to it. Same thing with Geofatboy, whose videos are well done with just enough talk that is alive. Recently I saw a good video by Gary Haywood, a member here. There is some talk there, too, but it fits perfectly and is just enough. There are several other videos with such qualities I can't recall off the top of my head.

The only objection I found in your videos appears in one. That is the video in which you also strop. Unfortunately the stropping is so incredibly fast that there is no way a newbie can learn from it. Hopefully none tries to emulate it, because we're likely to see a parade of cut strops and rolled edges. Your lathering is quite educational and well done. Obviously the shaving, especially in the variety of quality razors used. All is well done and worth viewing.

Good show, Mr. Magus. Keep up the fine work with these videos. Our members will do well viewing them and learning from them.

    Stay well.

Wow Thanks Obie. i know what you mean, pretty many shave videos out there is to much talk and to little shave . but there is also good once where you learn a few things. my vids are not so learning friendly i know, i figure there is so many vids about how to shave i rather just do my thing and put some good music to it. .
