Joseph Rodgers Restoration/Optimization (Maybe a WIP?)

Got a lead on some .136" LVA aerospace carbon fiber. Ill order it sometime within the week. Im going on vacation tomorrow and will be out for a week. Unfortunately I wont be able to work while Im gone.

Well guys I think I am going to calm down a bit with the crazy materials. Ill probably end up doing some layered G10 either Black/Orange or Black/Toxic Green and throw in some contours in the handle to bring out the patterns in the layers. I can really only afford G10 right now, so thats what Im going to use.

Looking forward to seeing the finished project. I too just picked up a Rogers wedge from a flea market..... I think I'm gonna do either lined G10 or some g10 lined CA finished burl...

Just picked up some Black G10 for the scales, and some white and blue G10 and sheet copper for the wedge! Should be here by the end of the week.

Hey guys just giving you a little update.

I have the thin G10 and copper in a hydraulic press laminating. I made 2 blanks for wedges. One is a copper core, with white g10 then blue g10 layered on either side (Think: Blue-White-Copper-White-Blue) and one that is Copper-White-Blue-Blue-White-Copper.

I would show pictures but I cant find my damn camera charger!!! Ill post when I can though!
