    This is the razor. It is an old that is literally xl as in 9/8.

    Replicate the scales the way they most likly were,Black horn,forget the double pins.JMO

    Although the right piece of Honey Horn can be rather attractive too...

    I would do horn as a nod to history, after that, all bets are off. Nice piece of honey horn, or black/white horn, double pin, bone spacer.

    Trace it out on a piece of paper and play with the shape.
