Thread: Need new scale a boker New York straight razor

Sorry about the post. Thanks Glen for your help. you can see how the scale is spread much more on the tang side compared to the wedge.

The tang on the Boker has a different tang angle too combined with the thickness of the scales and the thickness of the tang are creating a condition that isn't ever going to allow flex.. Basically it won't work..
You either need to find a vintage set that is off a near razor or build a custom set to that razor..

Yes it is 5/8. It shaves great. How old is it?

Not sure, but my guess is after WW2

You need a thicker wedge.
