I am grateful for your prompt and informative reply. I certainly know more now than I did after doing just web-searches and forum searches. Man-o-man, I really dig this community!

As for the restore, my brother and I are really not up for that task. I've referred him to the 'classifieds' here.

Again, my VERY large thanks to all who helped me learn more about this razor, what it might take to restore and whether or not it would be worth it.
