I find e6000 to be the easiest now, another that is available easily is called Beacon Multi Grip Glue both of these require nothing special in fact you can simply use a Alligator Clip as a clamp and they will work..

Thanks... Damp surface? Hahah helps to read the directions... Will look into e6000... If it's good enough for you, it's more than enough for me! Thanks again

Yeah that damp surface was actually the biggest reason I kept looking for something different, I found that nearly every single time I was nowhere near water LOL so I was using spit, and I am not so sure it was working as good
I also had to fashion an angled clamping jig for the bench vise to get the Gorilla glue to work right, another PITA...

Been there ! That's why I keep a gallon jug of tap water next to my work area... Keeps me from running to the kitchen

Default Question on using metal liners for the wedge

So I tried again tonight... Success! Thanks a million... One thing I did do was dip the end in water, grind, dip in water grind some more etc.... Seemed to help with the heat.... Also I ground it with a dremel at low speed

Thanks for the help... I dunno if liners are worth all the extra effort but they sure do look pretty!
