Nice save! I have 3 old Novelty razors, Similar. I cannot testify to their shaveworthyness, but they look likely! I have seen them with risque women, Fraternal organization symbols, The White House, the Capitol, the White House, (oh, that reminds me!) Presidents, Chickens, horses, cows, and pigs! Some appear to have personal photos in them as well, for the vain ones! Cool!
    .....get it on....Tom

I had a novelty at one time, and stupidly let it go, while i had it, it was a wonderful shaver, and it took an edge fairly easily. enjoy it

I use 400, 800, 1200, 2000 wet and dry progressively with WD40 as the lubricant then tripoli polishing wax and green polishing wax on buffers and finally metal polish to do mine.
I've got micro-mesh in the post so I'll see how it goes. (eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d)
I'm getting better results every time - just be careful not to let the blade get too hot on the buffers.
I have my finger supporting the blade so I can tell how hot it is getting.
Gotta keep a firm grip too - don't want the blade taking off on you.
    I hope this helps.
Hang on and enjoy the ride...
