Nice pair of Wostys! And those scales are smooth.

For a very small fee they will rip the acrylics to 1/8"--Wood  you'd have to ask as I'm sure they would worry about warpage as I know that many of the spindles come with wax on at least the ends.
Ive bought from them (thanks Roy) and it is easy to work with. Nice stuff. But after cutting i think i had an odd number of pieces. Or one real thin piece. Still, some cool looking stuff if your into the plastics and the price is right. Plus they dont charge much to rip it. You just need to let them know before you order.
I am putting together some elk antler brushes. I am sealing the soft porous middle with CA. Bottoms first the I will do the bottom of the hole to keep my epoxy from getting sucked down. Some of them were a little on the green side so I scrubbed them well, and then to dry them I put them in the microwave. It’s a good thing my wife is at work. The exaust fan should have that all cleaned up before she gets home.
