An 11/16 JR Torrey in sad shape. Looks like I'll give it a bit of a clean and see how it hones up.
Bob
There you go again enabling, Roy! And Bob, speaking of Torreys, I just finished up that identical blade in pearloid acrylic faux-tortoise shell scales with brass hardware. Tom had generously included a set of twin Torreys with a recent strop purchase, and I have been piddling with them off and on. Here are a couple of quick pics on the deck:

Fellas, it had been tool long. I had myself a grand time on a rainy Saturday in my shop yesterday, and finished it up today while cranking Waylon and Willie on the bluetooth. I love this Incudo acrylic from the British supplier Rothko and Frost. You guys should check them out if you don't already have them bookmarked-they have some really unique stuff: https://www.rothkoandfrost.com/mater...e%5B29%5D=1576
I've still got this one to do to complete the set; it will get silver hardware and the gray/smoke colored pearloid acrylic:

It's good to take a break from grading essays now and again!
Nice scales ScoutHikerDad! Thanks for the link, they've got some pretty wild patterns.
Rolodave: thanks for the little push on my Wosty. 220 and cork backer did the trick. I'm still not going to get all of the spit out, but I got a lot more than I thought I would.

I've got 6+ hours in and am pretty happy with where it's at. Time to start moving up the grits.
Lookin good, Jelly. 6+....wait till ya get done, then add um up. I put almost 25 hrs. into that last Wosty, and I cheated a bit with greaseless. Still...its all up to u, on how far u want to go. Some pitting, is just too deep and not worth chasing when hand sanding. Gonna look better than it did, though.
Nice scales A A Ron, you have some nice material stashed away.
Bob are you sure those old scales are Ok. (It appears tintin is faster than I)
Jelly the Wosty is coming around.
