What are folks working on this weekend?
It was a long weekend up here last weekend and I took this week off, hence my confusion that it is in fact Wednesday today..
No sharp objects for me today..
lol.
Making a set of scales, is on my list of tadoo this weekend. And some fishin Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Four days off for the holiday weekend.
I have 2 FBUs of my own I'm trying to finish plus a bunch of other quick clean up to do for resale projects. I have 3 or 4 FBUs I bought to turn over and haven't finished any except the one I'm keeping.
I just got back to work, so no weekends for me for a while.
Maybe,
I might try to make some scales. Or at least the first steps in making them. We will see. The weather man says great weather this holiday weekend.
trying to strip the paint off of a changing table for the upcoming grandchild. Nothing is as easy as it looks i'm finding out. I would be great if i could get it at least primed and ready for paint.
Oh, thats a pita to do. I hate strippers. But its the best way to go on big projects.
The only strippers I have ever found delightful, involved a brass pole. The rest of them fall into one of two categories, smelly and quite acidic, requiring gloves and a mask, or not particularly effective.
Many, many years ago I was working out of town on a 'RESET'--that's when they move everything in the store and piss people off.
Anyway on the first night I was there and went to bed early since we started work at 4 AM. I fell immediately to sleep. I'd left a wake up with the desk and suddenly the phone rang, I picked it up to shut it off and thought 'Damn that was a short night'--then the phone rang again and I answered it.
It was a guy called Barry and I'd only been asleep for about an hour. Anyway Barry wanted to know if I wanted to go with him to the Idaho border to see the hookers. I told him no as they were probably the same hookers that were there the last time I went--over 10 years before.
