I remember looking up the Kanji, from the old thread:
"The information found out about the Tamahagane steel that made this razor was fascinating.
The sword was made in the 1600's by sword master Hata Mitsuyo, he was a famous swordsmith, famous for his short sword, nicknamed, "the Devil's kitchen knife", and if you follow the link below, you can see the last three symbols of the Kanji match the symbols in pic #3 from Bruno's first post and read about the maker - truly an ancient piece of steel.

If you look at the bottom photo, that markings were the exact same, almost makes me wonder if I should have just keep the steel...:D
