I had a piece of carpet for that but I don't know what happened to it. I'll find some or some of those tiles.

I've not dropped a blade in a long time but I drop little washers all the time. They stop, drop and roll like it's a fire drill! Usually gone to who knows where and I'm lucky if I find them.
The horn came by way of phrank as a gift for cutting up some thicker slabs for the both of us to use. I have one more set stashed away for a blade to be determined later.
The blade came by way of a lot from a friend states side that hits lots of estate sales and thinks of me on occasion when he finds something particularly awesome.
I am lucky for many of the friends I have met through this forum..and continue to meet.

Ditto to that Mike, I think I may have more trusting friends here, than in real life.

Nice pic, and choice of suds Tom! I hope the brush provided you an appropriate lather?
Only tested that one once before shipping so it still has some blooming to do.
It is my favorite handle style now though and will be revisited on future builds..
That WB, well it just looks 'right' in that setting.

Where I'm at.
Seems the red dye didn't penetrate all the way into the horn and I'm losing some of it on the edges. Slathered it up with some neetsfoot and its starting to have a relatively aged look going on. Not what I was going for but I don't mind it. Carrying on..

Nice shape to those scales, the curve fits the spine well. Looks like it will have a nice "stance" when closed.
