Thats a bummer that no one has come up with a way to fix this sort of thing yet? I have been toying with the idea of grinding it out and in fact taking a bit further up the blade to make a short wide blade like a Japaneses razor? I mean if i cant save it why not try to go all out, What do you think??
Really I was just messing with you.........it's what happens when you work 12 hours on night shift with no one to talk to.....
I really think that you should mount it in a frame. I've only ever came across one FBU ever (it's identical to yours hopefully minus the crack).
Once you grind it out you can't take it back. It's to bad no one has a way to fix it. I talked to a Barber once that told me when a razor has a chip it's no good and should be scraped. I looked at him in disbelief.........we all would hone it out today.
If you leave it alone, in time maybe someone will figure out a fix........it's not like they're being made like this anymore, that is with the FBU mark
