Looking for another option to use when shaping scales during the basic shaping and sanding stages.
I read somewhere on the forum about a glue that can be separated easily with an exacto blade, then rinse off with some hot water., but can't find the thread now.

My previous method has been to join the 2 pieces together with 2 sided tape which works really well.
The problem with this is when I attempt to separate the 2 pieces they really sticky and can be quite hard to separate them.
This occasionally results in a cracked scale which is frustrating when I think about the time already put into making them.
The glue from the 2 sided tape can also be hard to clean off the scales.

I would like to hear what other members are using and how it works for them.
