    Useless for a razor but theres also Elk ivory. Elk have two ivory teeth. Useless information I know.

    I would disagree , my ivory scaled razors are very usefull, and quite nice feeling in the hand , also in the brushes I have ,, thanks Jimmy interesting. Tc

    the elk ivory teeth are only about and inch long so they would have to be inlays or used on a custom shorty.

    Working with Elks teeth would indeed be difficult.
    working with warthog or Hippo is more like working with teeth than true Ivory,very hard on tools and very little grain to be seen.
    Walrus is the king of all the Ivorys,very complex grain structures,Wish I could use what I have but the legal system is also very complex

    Sorry, I meant elk ivory teeth would be useless for razor scales. I just wanted to point out elk have 2 ivory teeth for those who didn't know. Sorry It was off topic I guess.
