    Forgot you like to keep the satin finish, Put flitz on the 2000 grit and give that a try. Dremmel takes you to mirror. Or use a combination of polishing compound and your finest grit paper. wetsand combo. Sorry.

    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    Top work! It's great when the surface flawing comes off and leaves a nice finish underneath.

    Personally, I'd try to get a smoother finish on the scales - micromesh has done me proud in achieving this. The blade looks ace, you did a great job there and you should be proud of the result.
