    I made a little promise to myself at one point: no sanding razors while imbibing. Maybe taking razors out and admiring them, but even that might not be altogether safe.

    I got home from a trans-Atlantic flight a few months ago, totally exhausted, jet-lagged. Got up in the morning and started to shave, and gouged a deep cut in my jaw. Worst cut ever. When driving, I figure exhaustion is equivalent to having had two stiff drinks, and try to compensate accordingly (slow, careful, attentive). Same rule of thumb seems to apply for handling sharp objects.

    But then, that way of acquiring corks sounds like a lot more fun than just buying a bag full.
