Making wooden scales
I have sawn one of my pieces of meranti wood into 2 pieces that are close enough to the correct thickness.
Once the thickness is correct, would it make sense to drill the pin holes first and place the 2 pieces on top of each other?
That way I could rough-shape them on a belt sander and being sure of the fact that they would remain each others mirror image.
Just a thought...
