    Re-polished the razor using the steel wool. Not a huge difference in the discoloration but it definitely gave it an improved 'luster'. Test shaved with it this morning with decent results, but I ran it back over the 8k and 12k this evening so I'm hoping tomorrow it will do even better.

    Here are the final pictures (after the steel wool rub-down). DEFINITELY the ugly sister in my rotation of razors, but I am very happy it was saved from the trash bin!

    It may not be the beauty you were hoping for, however it was certainly heading to the trash had you not saved it. Any razor saved and shaving is another project well done.
