Thanked: 3Seeking some help?
Hello all! I was hoping to get some help on finding a good bench grinder/buffer to clean up my razors with? For the last 2 years I have been using my dremel with the small buffing wheels, and although it works good and gets into the tight places it is not ideal for total restoration. I have looked at a few bench grinders/buffers and cant seem to find one that I can use for grinding and switch out the wheels so I can buff with it too? My price range is around $100? If anyone has an recommendations please feel free to share with me! Thanks so much! -BRETT

Thanked: 634Have you tried Harbor Freight? Their tools are inexpensive.

+1 on harbor freight. I'm about to buy a buffer from them. They're like $40 and if you buy the warranty you can wear it out and take it back. They're great and returns.

Thanked: 1936The key to a buffer for razors is speed. You want the slowest speed you can get (around 1800 rpm)and at least 1/2 hp. Use smaller buffing wheels too.
